Our Story & Mission
After moving to Sendai, we started our first English Meetup in March 2024. Since then, we’ve hosted over 30 meetups and welcomed more than 75 participants from 15+ countries—including Japanese locals and those from other prefectures. What began as a small gathering quickly grew into a vibrant community.
Our mission is to build an inclusive community for global citizens in and around Sendai by creating spaces for language exchange, cultural sharing, and mutual support.
Through our English Meetups and local information sharing, we aim to help both newcomers and long-time residents enjoy life in Tohoku and feel more at home.
